このたび、キーファー・ラベナ選手と2021-22シーズンの選手契約（新規）を締結いたしましたことをご報告いたします。ラベナ選手はアジア特別枠での登録となります。
ラベナ選手はフィリピン代表のキャプテンを務め、2019年のFIBAワールドカップ中国大会では全5試合に主力として出場しています。SNSフォロワーが100万人を超えるなど、母国フィリピンでは絶大な人気を誇るアスリートであり、三遠ネオフェニックスのサーディ・ラベナ（Thirdy Ravena）選手は弟にあたります。
今年5月、八村塁選手（ウィザーズ）らNBAの有名選手たちが契約しているジョーダンブランド（NIKE）とフィリピン出身選手として初めて個人スポンサー契約を結び話題になりました。
B.LEAGUEでのプレーはもちろん、滋賀とフィリピンを繋ぐ架け橋としてのラベナ選手の活躍にご期待ください。

We are very pleased to announce that we have signed a new player for the 2021-22 Season with Kiefer Ravena.
Ravena will be registered as the Asian Player Quotas.
Ravena has taken a role as a Captain of the Philippines National Team and has participated in all 5 games in the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China .
With over 1 million SNS followers, he is an extremely popular athlete especially in the Philippines, and San-En Neo-Phoenix; Thirdy Ravena is his younger brother.
In May of this year, Ravena signed a personal sponsorship contract with Jordan Brand（NIKE）for the first time as a Athlete from the Philippines.
Please look forward to Ravena's success in B.League Japan, as well as being a connection bridge between Shiga Prefecture, Japan and Philippines.

On June 7th (Monday)14:00 , we will hold an press conference for Kiefer Ravena on the Shiga Lakestars official Youtube channel.
Comments from Ravena and new HC Luis Guil Torres will be announced at a press conference.
About B.LEAGUE
B1 CLUB LOCATION
Is categorized in 3 division
B1, B2 and B3.
B1 League is composed with
22 teams（2021-22season）.
B1:22 clubs are divided into 2 conference; East and West.
SCHEDULE
The season is from October to May.
During the regular season, each team plays 60 games, 30 each in Home and Away.
Top 3 teams from each conference and top other 2 teams as the wildcard will be in the Championship.

Asian Playres Quota（2020～）
The target countries of an Asian Region Player is as following;
China/Chinese Taipei/Indonesia/Philippines/South Korea
GAME ENTRY
・3 Import Players each for the Team Roster.
・Either 1 from Asian Region Player or Naturalized Player
ON THE COURT RULE
・Each team can play 2 Import Players + 1 (Asian Region Player or Naturalized Player) for a game.
